Control of the semi-automatic lathe model
Loskot, Petr ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
The work introduces the concept of conventional lathes. What the main parts are and what the demands on them are. It also brings us closer to the concept of modern CNC machine tools. It presents us with the possibiliteis of motion control in the axes using modern elements and the possibility of position measurement on the axes. In the practical part, the work presents us with some possibilities of components by which the semi-automatic lathe model can be realized.
Design of CNC vertical lathe with table diameter 2500 mm
Eliášová, Eva ; Jelenčík, Branislav (referee) ; John, David (advisor)
The topic of this work is the design of a vertical lathe with a table diameter of 2,500 mm. Part of the work is the analysis of current products in order to solve their shortcomings. The result is an innovative design focused on user-friendly operation and progressive shaping. At the same time, the designed machine fulfils all technical, ergonomic and aesthetic requirements.
CNC machining of shaft from gearbox
Konvičný, Denis ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the production of gearbox shaft components using a CNC machine tool, shaft programming in Tebis 4.0 R8 software, Sinumerik SinuTrain 7.5, and manufacturing accuracy checking using 3D scanning technology, which allows you to compare the CAD model and the scan of the manufactured part.

Novotný, Radek ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis includes analysis of basic operations for 2,5D machining in CAD/CAM software PowerMILL and their evaluation. It shows procedure and important knowledge for production endgaged component with consequential creation of NC program for CNC machine tool.
Simulation of CNC machine tool spindle in ADAMS software
Pham, Jakub ; Holub, Michal (referee) ; Tůma, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a simulation model of a CNC machine tool in MSC ADAMS software. Nowadays, simulations have become an integral part of every development process, as they offer a cost-effective alternative to classical machine development involving prototyping. Within machine tools, dynamic simulation of machine nodes is one of the unexplored areas. The aim of this work is to verify their functionality and reliability in this area. Within the scope of the bachelor thesis, a research on dynamic system simulations, the finite element method and the simulation software MSC Adams and Ansys has been carried out. In the practical part, the spindle loading of the MCV 754 Quick machine tool was designed. Subsequently, the model geometry and boundary conditions were determined and the spindle was simulated during the cutting process in MSC ADAMS. The simulation results were verified by both analytical calculation and experimental measurements on the machine. Furthermore, the concept of further development of the model within the framework of cosimulation was presented. Finally, all output parameters were compared and evaluated.
Compensation of Linear Encoder of Maching Center
Štěpánek, Vojtěch ; Šooš, Ĺubomír (referee) ; Suchánek, Rostislav (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
A CNC machine tool is a complex mechatronic system whose behaviour is influenced by a change in temperature gradient. Nowadays, we could state that under certain conditions it is a cyber-physical system. From this point of view, there are two approaches to solve this problem. One direction solves the whole machine using a suitable method as a whole. Models are often very complex and their reliability is often questi-onable. This work deals with the decomposition of the machine using a systems approach, with the intention of finding the dependencies between the geometric error of the on-axis position accuracy and the temperature gradient. Then, using a suitable virtual model, predict the evolution of the temperature error and based on this prediction, make actionable interventions in the machine tool control system to eliminate the on-axis homing error as much as possible. One of the basic building blocks of the machine tool in terms of positioning is the linear encoder, which acts as a direct feedback member of the axis position control. Therefore, this publication is mainly devoted to the thermal behaviour of the linear encoder.
